About the Team

The Woodland Warrior Wolves are a spirited and creative team of 5th grade students from Woodland Elementary, proudly representing Lakota Local Schools at the 2025 Destination Imagination Global Finals.

What is Destination Imagination?

Destination Imagination is a global nonprofit that inspires youth to develop creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through project-based STEAM challenges. ​All solutions are entirely child-driven. No adult interference allowed around here.

What started as a spark of imagination quickly turned into a full-blown intergalactic adventure. From selecting our challenge and building a sci-fi world from scratch, to writing original scripts, constructing our set with hot glue and hope, and finally winning the State Finals—this blog captures every step of our journey.

Now, we’re gearing up for the ultimate challenge: Global Finals in Kansas City.
